This policy explains what information The Pros Salon collects when you book an appointment with us, how we use it, and your choices — particularly around text message (SMS) communications.
When you book an appointment, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and any notes you provide about your appointment. If you request a repeat/recurring appointment, we store that schedule as well. We do not collect payment information through this booking system.
Your phone number is used to:
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of messages, or HELP for assistance. You can also opt in to marketing texts — or opt back in after opting out — by texting START to our number. Opting out of marketing messages does not affect your appointment; we may still need to reach you about a specific booking through other means (phone call, email) if you opt out of texts.
We do not sell, share, or disclose your mobile information — including your phone number and SMS/text messaging consent — to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do use trusted service providers (currently Twilio for text delivery, Resend for email delivery, and Supabase for secure data storage) solely to operate this booking system on our behalf — they process your information only to deliver the service, not to market to you independently, and are not third parties or affiliates who receive your information for their own marketing use.
We retain booking and consent records for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain accurate appointment history, and meet our own record-keeping obligations (including demonstrating SMS consent where required).
